The above photo demonstrates what 70 minutes of cardio will do to you before work.
These are my remarks on my final day as 21:
In the past I always emphasized my birthday because it entitled me to the concept of growing up. After a lot of personal reflection as a 21 year old, it’s not the case. While your age increases, you are not responsible to age with it. Not all 21 year olds think alike either.
I’ve been quite frank about how I view life and the different outlooks I have seen and interacted with. Yes, I will admit to being a little ego-centric and narrow-minded in the past, and perhaps in the future; however, I strongly believe my expression of my own thoughts is a layering of my personal experience as a human being.
It’s quite natural to internalize events and happenings. It’s probably the first stage to understanding. I choose to express my internal thoughts as a reflection on what I have encounter thus far. For me, it is difficult to say whether my ideology is correct but it is also a challenge to define my thought process as incorrect as well.
For some folks, they’re just going with the motion of the ocean.
Completely agreed.
I suppose my take home message is “to each is their own.” Everyone lives life differently and despite what you may think of it, they might be completely happy with doing something you might not agree upon.
That’s what I’ve learn as a “21” year old, if it counts as a life skill.
So fuck the media for making me feel horrible about my body, I am taking back my life… AGAIN.
